2023/24 Review
For Peter and Jill, the last twelve months have been a year full of increasing yet shifting responsibilities, competing needs, and transition changes. Identifying and then navigating the priorities has been a stretching process that has led Peter and Jill to lean into God.
Peter and Jill have recently begun a season of living back in Australia while Peter continues to oversee OF with regular communication and visits. The Operation Foundation team have really stepped up to the changes. Observing their passion for the ministry and the way they are supporting Peter and Jill in this new season has been such an encouragement. While this new season unfolds, the reach is widening and deepening. There is evidence that Operation Foundation has entered a time of bearing new fruit. Operation Foundation continues to work in the community of Nanuku, with a team from New Vine Lakes visiting in May 2024 to continue building work. The Nanuku Community experienced its first crime-free Christmas—ever! This is such radical grace, shifting the team’s idea of what is possible in God.

Testimony
Albertino entered prison at 18 and was released under a mercy pardon after serving 22 years of a life sentence. While in prison, we worked extensively with Albertino, seeing him come to repentance and faith in Jesus. We are now working with Albertino as he transitions to life on the outside. Every Sunday, Albertino is part of our church fellowship at Navua, where he finds belonging, acceptance, and growth in his faith.

Prayer & Praise
- Please pray for Peter and Jill and their family as they transition back to living in Australia for a season after living in Fiji for 18 years.
- Pray for the team in Fiji that continue the work on the ground with Peter's oversight and support.
- Pray for the Nanuku community and that the work of OF will continue to have a huge impact on those in the settlement.
- A praise point is that Operation Foundation has started in Vanuatu prisons. They are also prayerfully considering invitations from other Fiji squatter settlement communities, community services and regional prison systems.
All In ...... to support prisoners and vulnerable communities in Fiji.
All In - Peter Schutz: Can you remember a moment when you felt God say, "I need you to go All In on this?” How did you feel when this occurred? The first time it happened was eighteen years ago when he led us to Fiji. It felt frightening, overwhelming. The last time it happened was as He led us to engage the Nanuku community. It felt equally overwhelming.
